- Cold weathers back. Break out the thick pants. Wrap yourself up in a couple of hearty peasants. #
- Just listened to Tron soundtrack from Daft Punk. Very enjoyable, atmospheric, bombastic, full bodied with a hint of parsnip. Keep the bass up #
- Great win from England to go one up. #Ashes #
- So cold this morning. Down to -10c (14f). Been out with blowtorch to defrost the sparrows who are stuck to their perches. #
- I knew it was cold when I woke up with a bed full of penguins.
'Look at these King penguins!' I said. Or something to that effect. # - Suns gone in and the temperature is dropping like a stone. With the clear skies all day it could be even colder tonight. #
- I've issued woolly jumpers and hats to the sparrows but I need something for their beaks. Maybe those polystyrene packing beads would work. #
- Must say the sparrows look quite smart in their stylish fur-lined bootees although they can't seem to grip their perches. Where's the glue? #
- The penguins are sliding down the roof. They think it's great fun. Now the seagulls have joined in. I think they're having a competition. #
- Thought we had Carol singers at the door turned out to be the potatoes cooking on the job. #
- Or even the hob! (stupid predictive text) #
- Down to -6C (21F) in Cov already. I may have to wrap up in a couple of polar bears. Already got some sheep strapped to my feet. #
- Another Christmas shopping trip. I bet it'll all be gone again by the weekend. #
- I think we have a black hole in the fridge eating all the pies. #
- It's so cold I can stick ice-cubes to my forehead. Can't think of a practical use for such a skill though. #
- If I hear Bing singing White Christmas once more I shall spit. #
- Somebody tell @cheeserations it's not a netbook it's just an old pizza box blown there by the wind. #
- Clearly students haven't understood that under the new #fees plan they'll be a lot better off. Instead they just commit mindless violence. #
- Do students not understand the financial situation? The cost of their violent protests just means even less money for them to spend on booze #
- Great Scott! It's 6C(43F). Summers arrived. Shorts on. Slap on the sun cream. It's light and I'm wearing sunglasses. Hit It!!! #
- Oh why are so many tracks on @Napster only playable for 30 seconds. Amazon do that but at least I'm not paying. #
- I'm getting really testy of late. I think it's these tight underpants. Not enough slack in them for free movement. #
- It's amazing how UK gas and electricity prices are the highest in Europe even though the commodity price to the power companies is the same. #
- See I said I was testy. I'm waiting for the roads to freeze so I can complain about the lack of road gritting. #
- I've noticed these Fridays popping up quite frequently. They're almost cyclic. #
- This mood music with the sound of a babbling brook is all well and good but I keep having to go for a wee. #
- I'd just fancy a cheese and beetroot sandwich right now but it's a bit late at night. Plus we have no cheese or beetroot. #
- @Napster The same 30 sec tracks can be played in full on skysongs. Oh well. They're closing in Feb so get advertising and snap us users up 🙂 #
- I reckon MetPol looked on Street View to see if the Princes route was okay. Didn't realise they were old pics so thought nobody was about. #
- Just because student tuition has been free in the past doesn't mean it's always going to be free. Beer used to be 3p a pint. #
- I don't believe it. It really does taste like butter. What is it?
Oh…butter! # - I think I was abducted by aliens whilst I was watching TV and lost an hour in time. Unless I fell asleep. #
- I wish companies would stop emailing to tell me VAT goes up to 20% in Jan 2010 and that they *will* be charging me.
I know! I know! # - That pigeon is so fat it can hardly bend to peck the corn up.
Maybe if I creep up on it.
Damn knees clicked again and gave the game away. #
